Coming from a multicultural family, ‘Itinéraire’ combines the issue of immigration with cartography, and is based on a simple process: members of my family go in search of their former homes via Google Earth. Obviously, certain memories are clearer in our minds, so the images are zoomed in more.
These images, once assembled, form maps that trace life’s itineraries through a technique of fragmentation and scale that reflects the variability of memories.
